Description

A former mill and farmhouse in their own secluded grounds on the banks of the River Dane in the Staffordshire Moorlands.  The Gritstone Roaches (one of the UK's premier climbing destinations) is on the doorstep making Gradbach the perfect base for those with an adventurous disposition.  If you’re a National Trust member then there’s plenty to do as National Trust properties Quarry Bank Mill at Styal, Little Morton Hall, Tatton Park, Dunham Massey and Biddulph Grange are all nearby. For a dose of fun, Alton Towers is 15 miles away or visit the nearby spa town of Buxton.

School Holiday Outdoor Extravaganzas

YHA Gradbach offers a range of outdoor related evening entertainment during school holidays including presentations, talks and demonstrations by organisations such as the Peak District National Park Authority, Mountain Rescue, The British Mountaineering Council and others, as well as showings of films on our in - house cinema.
